Zeyu Lin

I am a third-year M.S. student in Industrial Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). I received my B.E. in Industrial Engineering from SJTU in 2023.

My research lies at the intersection of Operations Research and Operations Management, with a focus on:

  • Shared Mobility & On-demand Platforms — operational strategies for e-bike sharing systems, including fleet rebalancing, battery management, and user incentive design
  • Network Competition & Game Theory — Cournot-type network games, crowd-sourced labor in competitive rental markets
  • Learning-Augmented Optimization — reinforcement learning for competitive fleet allocation in shared mobility markets

I am particularly interested in problems where strategic interactions among firms, platforms, and users shape operational outcomes. My work combines analytical modeling (Markov chains, game theory, optimization) with empirical validation on large-scale real-world data.

I am actively seeking Ph.D. opportunities for Fall 2026.
